Day 3 – So now, we know who you are – Let’s get you set up with some tools needed to be an effective Social Media Manager
For you to be an effective social media manager, you need to be a good writer, a creative one too!
Your tasks are:
- Create a free personal blog account at WordPress.com or any other blog hosting platform you are comfortable with! – This is where you will practice your writing while building your personal blog, which can serve as reference to your writing when you are asked, what have you written.
- Go to gravatar.com and sign into your account with your WordPress.com username and password, once signed in, add a proper bio and add an image as well. Make sure you assign an image to the email you have signed in with. (You can skip this step if you are not creating a blog on WordPress.com)
- Create an account on Canva.com – This is where you would be making great graphics to go along with your content! If you prefer to use Photoshop, or any other tool out there, that is also okay, let me know on Slack!
