The Community Circle
You have communities. But do you have somewhere you feel known?
The Community Circle is a thoughtfully hosted space where you can be known beyond what you do, contribute what you know, and build meaningful relationships over time.
One payment. Founding Membership. Lifetime access.
The Circle is currently hosted in a private Telegram group.
Connected, but not known
You probably belong to several groups already. A professional network. A few messaging groups. An online community or two. Somewhere you have been a member for years.
You are reachable in all of them. You are rarely known in any of them.
Professional spaces tend to value people for their title, their visibility, their achievements, or how useful they can be. Large groups can make a warm and interesting person feel like another name in a crowded room. You read. You scroll. You reply now and then. Very little would change if you quietly stopped.
That is not a failure of effort on your part. Most spaces are built for reach. Very few are built for recognition.
Many people are included in spaces without ever experiencing belonging.
A place where you do not have to perform to belong
You do not need to post constantly here. You do not need to promote yourself, impress anyone, or compete for attention. There is no leaderboard and no pressure to appear more finished than you are.
You can arrive with your questions. With what you know. With your curiosity, your experience, and the ideas you have not resolved yet.
You do not have to prove your usefulness before you are welcomed.
Belonging here is not the same as sitting quietly in the background. A circle only becomes worth returning to when people actually show up in it. Everyone is invited to listen, to join the conversation, to offer what they know, and to care about the people around them.
You choose your own pace. What is asked of you is presence, not performance.
What belonging can look like here
- Familiar faces and recurring conversations instead of an endless stream of strangers.
- Thoughtful introductions based on shared interests, experiences, and questions.
- Regular live online circles for conversation, reflection, listening, and learning.
- A private Telegram group for ongoing conversation, connection, and member updates.
- Opportunities to share knowledge, ideas, work, and lived experience.
- Member-led conversations, workshops, and community experiences.
- A place members can return to even after a quiet or difficult season.
- A community where people notice one another and contributions matter.
Belonging grows at its own pace, and it looks different for each person. What I can offer is the room, the hosting, and the care that makes it possible.
This Circle may be for you if
Members come from different countries, professions, generations, and stages of life. Founders and creatives. Remote workers and retirees. Immigrants, parents, educators, technologists, and people in the middle of a transition they did not plan. What they share is not an industry. It is a way of being with other people.
- You know many people but still wish you had somewhere you felt known.
- You want meaningful conversation without forced networking.
- You want to meet thoughtful people beyond your profession or usual circles.
- You want somewhere to bring your different interests, experiences, and identities together.
- You have knowledge or life experience you would enjoy sharing.
- You want to receive from others and contribute something of your own.
- You value curiosity, generosity, mutual care, and thoughtful participation.
- You want a community you can return to without having to constantly perform.
Your host
Hosted by Mary Mojisola Job
I am a Community Systems Strategist and a WordPress and Open Source Advocate. For years I have brought people together across countries, professions, cultures, generations, and stages of life.
My work here is not to open a group chat and hope something happens. I host the room. I notice who has arrived and who has gone quiet. I introduce people who ought to know each other. I protect the culture. I make occasions for members to speak, to share what they know, and to meet one another properly.
I am also building HDY Haus, a physical home for work, creativity, conversation, and community experiences in Durrës, Albania. The Circle and the Haus come from the same belief. People need places, not only platforms.
Why pay to join?
Free groups are everywhere. You could join several before lunch, and most of us already have. That is exactly the problem. When joining costs nothing, leaving costs nothing either, and very few people stay long enough to be known.
You are not paying for a link to a group chat or a folder of content. Those are easy to make and easy to ignore.
You are paying for:
- Thoughtful hosting and curation.
- A protected, non-transactional culture.
- Recurring opportunities to meet and deepen relationships.
- A smaller room where participation can be noticed.
- Moderation and protection from unsolicited selling, spam, and exploitation.
- My continued work creating conversations and experiences where belonging can develop.
- A membership boundary that asks everyone to make a genuine commitment.
You are not paying for access to people. You are investing in a place where meaningful relationships have room to grow.
The $99 Founding Membership is a one-time payment for lifetime access to The Community Circle.
Exceptional experiences such as retreats, ticketed workshops, or in-person events may carry their own cost. Your core Circle membership will never require another membership payment.
Join the Circle for $99What we protect
Belonging does not survive on good intentions alone. It needs safety, trust, participation, and mutual respect. Those things are protected on purpose here, and that protection is part of what you are joining.
The Circle is for people who are willing to:
- Listen as well as speak.
- Give as well as receive.
- Respect differences in culture, identity, experience, and opinion.
- Protect private conversations.
- Participate without exploiting other members.
The Circle is not for unsolicited selling, collecting contacts, aggressive self-promotion, or harassment. It is not for people who only want to take from others.
Your presence matters here, and so does the way you make room for others.
Somewhere to return to
You do not need another crowded group demanding your attention.
You may simply need a circle where people gradually come to know you, where what you carry can be shared, and where you can return without having to earn your place again.
One payment. Lifetime access to The Community Circle.
